The number of adult Filipinos who declared they are "very happy" with their love life is at a record low, according to the national Social Weather Survey.

The survey, conducted from November 24-30, 2025, found 46% of the respondents saying they were very happy with their love life; 40% saying they could be happier; and 14% saying they have no love life.

"The latest percentage of 46% who were very happy with their love life was the same as last year, and the lowest in over 20 years since it was first recorded in 2004," said the Social Weather Stations (SWS), which conducted the survey.

"Those who feel they could be happier rose by 4 points from 36%, while those without a love life fell by 4 points from 18% in 2024," it added.

The Fourth Quarter 2025 Social Weather Survey was conducted from November 24 to 30, 2025, using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults (18 years old and above) nationwide: 300 each in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon (or Luzon outside Metro Manila), the Visayas, and Mindanao. The sampling error margins are ±3% for national percentages and ±6% each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

The survey was non-commissioned.
