Palace questions SWS results showing VP Sara's high rating, Marcos' negative score
Malacañang raised questions over the results of a recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, showing Vice President Sara Duterte's high net satisfaction rating and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s negative score.
According to a "24 Oras" report by Ivan Mayrina on Friday, Duterte believed that her +28 satisfaction ratings stemmed from the public’s appreciation of what she has done for the country.
Duterte’s satisfaction rating from the November 2025 SWS survey was the highest satisfaction rating given to a government official for the said survey.
(I believe that the people see what an official does for the country, and that is where they base their assessment or ratings for a government official.)
However, the Palace questioned the source of the data.
(If your next question is where these ratings are coming from, we are also looking for it. Because no matter what numbers appear there, the truth that the President is the one working while the others are only taking vacations cannot be disputed by anyone.)
(We hope that these survey ratings will not be an avenue for lies about who is really working.)
GMA Integrated News has reached out to Duterte and SWS for comment.
Meanwhile, Duterte raised concerns over the current state of the country before the 2028 presidential elections.
(Will there still be a Philippines to talk about in 2028? We are buried in garbage, in flood, on all economic indicators, and even in corruption, we are deep into it. So that is what I am afraid of, that we just wake up one day without a decent government and a country in chaos.)
