NBI: Person probed over alleged Marcos medical certificate sought resetting
An individual being investigated over the alleged medical document on President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s health has requested a resetting of his appearance, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) spokesperson Palmer Mallari said Monday.
Mallari said that the individual was supposed to appear last Friday.
“Apparently, there was an email sent to the Cybercrime Division requesting for a resetting,” he said in a press briefing.
In January, a document circulated online on the President’s supposed health.
Malacañang has condemned this, calling the claims “fabricated and malicious.”
This came after Marcos was placed under medical observation at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City due to diverticulitis, or the inflammation of irregular bulging pouches in the wall of the large intestine.
Meanwhile, Mallari said that they have made an initial filing against those who spread the medical certificate. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
