Marcos says health sector priority in digitalization efforts

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. said Tuesday his administration is prioritizing the health sector in the digitalization of government processes. 

During the ASEAN Editors and Economic Opinion Leaders Forum: Fireside Chat "Tapping the Philippines Dynamic Growth Story, Marcos was asked if the government's systems would be fully digitalized by the end of his term in 2028.

He said certain agencies are in the priority list, such as the health sector.

''We have prioritized the health sector, that has been the number one priority,'' Marcos said. 

Last year, Marcos said the Philippines has to compete with its neighboring countries when it comes to digitalization so that the country can easily do business with them
