LIST: Special non-working days in various areas for February and March

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has declared special non-working days in various areas across the country from the last day of February until late March 2026.

The declarations of special non-working were authorized by the President through various proclamations signed Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, according to an advisory from the Office of the Executive Secretary issued on Saturday.

The following are the dates declared as holidays and the corresponding areas where it is in effect:

  • February 28, 2026 - City of Tangub, Misamis Occidental for its 58th Charter Anniversary under Proclamation No. 1169
  • March 6, 2026 - Municipality of Gutalac, Zamboanga del Norte for its 4th Araw ng Gutac under Proclamation No. 1170
  • March 6, 2026 - City of Tadian, Mountain Provice for Ayyoweng Di Lambak Ed Tadian Festival under Proclamation No. 1171
  • March 10, 2026 - City of Tanauan, Batangas for its 25th Cityhood Anniversary under Proclamation No. 1164
  • March 10, 2026 - Municipality of Norala, South Cotabato for its founding anniversary under Proclamation No. 1165
  • March 13, 2026 - Municipality of Bauko, Mountain Province for Begnas di Bauko Festival under Proclamation No. 1166
  • March 17, 2026 - Municipality of Tayug, Pangasinan for its founding anniversary under Proclamation No. 1176
  • March 18, 2026 - Province of Masbate for its 125th Founding Anniversary under Proclamation No. 1167
  • March 19, 2026 - Municipality of Kawayan, Biliran for its Charter Anniversary under Proclamation No. 1177
  • March 19, 2026 - City of Canloan, Negros Oriental for Pasayaw Festival 2026 under Proclamation No. 1178
  • March 24, 2026 - City of Tabaco, Albay for its Charter Day and 25th Cityhood Founding Anniversary under Proclamation No. 1179
