Marcos won't intervene in Sara Duterte impeachment proceedings, says Palace

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. would not intervene in the ongoing impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte, Malacañang said on Wednesday.

At a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro said the President only wants due process to be observed and followed in the proceedings.

The House justice panel voted Wednesday that the impeachment complaints against the Vice President are sufficient in substance.

On Monday, the panel found the two impeachment complaints against the Vice President sufficient in form.

As a result, the Vice President was ordered to file her answer to the impeachment complaints within 10 calendar days. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
