UPCAT 2027 set for Aug. 1–2
Applications for the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) 2027 opened on Tuesday, March 3.
Aspiring freshmen for Academic Year 2027–2028 may submit their applications until March 30.
The application period is open to current Grade 11 students for School Year 2025–2026, as well as current Grade 12 students who have not taken the UPCAT in previous years.
Applicants must accomplish and submit Form 1 through the online portal at https://upcat2027online.up.edu.ph/ on or before March 30.
School officials, meanwhile, are required to complete and confirm student records through the Form 2A portal from March 3 to April 10. This will allow applicants to receive their test permits in July.
The UPCAT will be administered on August 1 and 2.
Applicants are also reminded to revisit the portal from August 3 to 24 to encode their Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 records in the Form 2B portal.
In addition, applicants must submit a certified true copy of their SF-10, or Student Permanent Record, to the UP Office of Admissions at UP Diliman in Quezon City.
UP remains the country’s premier state university and ranked as the top Philippine institution in the 2026 QS Asia University Rankings.
It was followed by Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, and the University of Santo Tomas.—MCG, GMA Integrated News
