PhilHealth: Frontline services uninterrupted amid 4-day workweek
Frontline and hospital services will remain uninterrupted despite the adjusted work arrangements of government agencies to conserve energy, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) said on Tuesday.
PhilHealth said that services will continue operating on a regular five-day schedule.
“Under the arrangement, administrative and back-office personnel will observe a compressed onsite schedule from Monday to Thursday, with a 10-hour workday. Meanwhile, frontline offices and critical operational units will maintain their regular Monday-to-Friday operations to ensure uninterrupted service to members,” it said in a statement.
It also said that PhilHealth personnel will remain reachable on Fridays for urgent operational requirements and concerns.
Further, the state health insurer said that the following services are also unaffected by the adjusted work arrangement:
- PhilHealth CARES Nurses and P-Malasakit personnel in hospitals
- Local Health Insurance Offices (LHIOs), PhilHealth Business Centers, Satellite Offices, and Hospital Desks
- Claims Processing (Benefit Administration Section) and Information Technology (IT)
- Legal and Field Operations
