San Pedro College-Davao City grad tops medical technologists licensure exam
A graduate of San Pedro College-Davao City achieved the top score in the licensure examination for medical technologists given earlier this month.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 7,838 out of 9,317 test takers passed the exam, given by the Board of Medical Technology at test centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
"The results of examination with respect to five (5) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations," the PRC added.
SPC-Davao City's Reisz Wyrnel Gaudicos Camasin was the highest scorer with a rating of 93.00%. In close second place is another SPC-Davao City alum, Dexter Alvarez Masonsong Jr., with 92.90%.
The top performing schools with 50 or more examinees all have 100% passing rates: Saint Louis University (362 of 362 test takers passing), Velez College (196), Our Lady of Fatima University-Quezon City (107), University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (84), University of Cebu-Banilad (57) and Notre Dame of Marbel University (56).
