Ten of the 18 ex-supposed Philippine Marines and personnel of former Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co have signed the affidavit prepared by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
This came after the Marines’ one-on-one interviews with the NBI, according to a “24 Oras” report on Wednesday.
The interview is part of the NBI’s investigation into the Marines’ alleged delivery of suitcases of money to certain government officials.
Lawyer Levi Baligod, the Marines’ lawyer, said the affidavits have already been signed but have not yet been sworn to.
The Marines’ camp is also waiting for the NBI to summon the other eight individuals. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/JMA, GMA Integrated News
