ICI asks Customs to take Zaldy Co-tied luxury cars

The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) has asked the Bureau of Customs (BOC) to retrieve the luxury vehicles linked to former lawmaker Zaldy Co that are parked in its compound.

According to Nimfa Ravelo’s report on Super Radyo dzBB, this is because the ICI will only be operational until March 31.

ICI Special Adviser retired police general Rodolfo Azurin said the BOC must retrieve six luxury vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce, three Cadillacs, and two Lexuses.

Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) must retrieve three luxury vehicles that were confiscated alongside Co’s alleged vehicles at a condominium in Taguig.

One is a Ferrari, whose owner is still being verified.

The ICI will also turn over one Lamborghini Urus and a GMC that was surrendered by former Department of Public Works and Highways assistant engineer Brice Hernandez.

Azurin said that the ICI is in continuous coordination with other agencies to wrap up its operations.  –Joahna Lei Casilao/NB, GMA Integrated News
