PhilHealth warns vs fake websites

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) warned against the proliferation of "unauthorized" websites.

In an advisory on Wednesday, PhilHealth said that several websites posing as the corporation were soliciting personal information and data from beneficiaries.

“Any transaction made through these unauthorized websites will not be acknowledged by the Corporation,” the advisory read.

PhilHealth noted that their only official website is www.philhealth.gov.ph.

They advised the public to stay alert of fraudulent websites and only check official sources for news and advisories on PhilHealth. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
