Seafarer who won P45M Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot says he no longer needs to leave family for work

After a decade of playing lotto, a seafarer won the P45 million from the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw on March 9, 2026. With his winnings, the lucky bettor will no longer set sail to be closer to his family. 

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the winning numbers of the said lotto draw are 38-32-08-20-19-09.

The seafarer reportedly said the numbers he picked is a combination of dates that include birthdays and important events in his life.

He said his good fortune will change his future and one of these is that he no longer needs to leave even though he had just received a new contract to serve as a crewmember of a ship.

He added that he will use his winnings to pay his debts, invest and start a business. –RF, GMA Integrated News
