BOC auction of 11 seized luxury cars stalled as no bidders registered
The Bureau of Customs' (BOC) scheduled public auction of 11 seized luxury vehicles on Friday, March 27, 2026, did not proceed because no bidders registered for the event.
This was announced by the BOC-Port of Manila on its Facebook page.
"The Bureau will provide updates on the next schedule or disposition of the vehicles," it said.
The 11 vehicles up sale are the following:
- Rolls-Royce Cullinan (2021) - P33,753,078.05
- Bentley Continental (2022) - P27,117,084.15
- Mercedes Benz S680 Maybach (2023) - P12,116,938.78
- BMW X6 (2023)- P8,808,106.39
- Lexus LX570 (2018) - P3,457,463.95
- BMW XM (2024) - P9,862,810.20
- Mercedes Benz G650 V12 Biturbo (2022) - P79,202,988.71
- Rolls Royce Phantom (2023) - P31,928,749.31
- Ferrari SF90 Stradale (Mansory) (2024)- P54,293,101.18
- Jeep Wrangler (2021)- P2,759,168.63
- Lexus ES (2019) - P2,697,407.97
None of the four remaining Discaya-linked cars—the 2022 GMC Yukon Denali, 2021 Cadillac Escalade, 2022 Maserati Levante Modena, and 2022 GMC Yukon XL Denali—were put on sale during Friday's public auction.
The agency has so far sold nine of the 13 confiscated vehicles from contractors Sarah and Curlee Discaya, generating P102,468,884.15 in proceeds which were turned over to the Bureau of the Treasury. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
