DOH on Code White alert for Holy Week 2026

The Department of Health (DOH) will activate its Code White alert for the Holy Week.

The Code White will begin on March 30 and will end on April 6, a day after Easter, the DOH said in a statement on Friday.

Under Code White, health emergency teams, health commodities, and emergency rooms of DOH hospitals are on standby at all times to respond to road accidents, injuries, and health emergencies.

Transport stations and several government agencies are now on alert for the Holy Week exodus, including the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA). —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
