LTFRB to observe 4-day work week starting April 6
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will implement a four-day work schedule starting Monday, April 6, 2026 in accordance with the government’s energy-saving policy.
In an advisory on Wednesday, the LTFRB said the compressed work week is in line with Memorandum Circular 114 issued by Malacañang on March 6 to conserve energy resources amid the Middle East conflict.
The agency’s office will be open from Mondays to Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be no work for LTFRB employees on Fridays.
To ensure the uninterrupted delivery of services, the LTFRB’s transportation inspectors, 24/7 hotline team, and other employees with similar duties and responsibilities will still observe a five-day work wweek.
