LOOK: Long lines at bus terminal in Cubao, QC; light traffic along NLEX

Passengers going to Bulacan and Nueva Ecija flocked to a bus terminal along EDSA in Cubao, Quezon City early morning of Maundy Thursday.

According to GMA News' James Agustin, the terminal officer-in-charge said they already deployed 20 extra buses but there were still many passengers seeking to go to the provinces.

Meanwhile, light traffic was observed along North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) as of 7:10 a.m.

• Balintawak Toll Plaza- Light
• Mindanao Toll Plaza- Light
• Approaching Marilao Northbound- previously stalled vehicle, approximately 50-60kph running speed, site cleared.
• Counterflow for northbound motorists suspended
• Bocaue Toll Plaza- Light
• San Fernando Northbound- Light
• San Fernando Southbound- Light
• Light traffic in all other areas of NLEX–SCTEX–NLEX Connector including toll plazas and interchanges.

In Sumulong Highway, early morning joggers and bikers make their way up to the Antipolo Church, according to GMA News' Tina Panganiban-Perez.

Jonathan Luke, a member of the Church of England, said he is running barefoot as part of his pilgrimage. He added that this will be the first time he will be visiting the Antipolo Church.

Meanwhile, a group offering free water set up a tent along the highway.
