Phil. Red Cross says it treated over 7K patients during Holy Week 2026

Philippine Red Cross has treated over 7,000 patients

Over 7,000 patients have been attended to by the Philippine Red Cross nationwide so far during the observance of Holy Week 2026, the agency said Saturday.

The PRC reported that as of 9 a.m. on Black Saturday, the agency had catered to a total of 7,137 individuals since March 29, Palm Sunday.

A total of 6,514 individuals had their vital signs monitored, including 26 major cases and 583 minor cases.

Fourteen patients were also transferred to hospitals.

The PRC also provided assistance as follows:

  • Total assistance: 105
  • Psychological Support: 52
  • Tracing: 1
  • Referral: 29
  • Wheel Chair Assistance / Senior Assistance: 20

 

The PRC also reported it had deployed its assets as follows:

  • Ambulances: 75
  • Mobile Clinic: 1
  • Volunteer Emergency Response Vehicle: 9
  • Rescue Boat: 1
  • FA Stations: 356
  • Welfare desks: 74
  • Foot Patrols: 85
  • Total Manpower (Staff & Volunteers): 2,000
