Marcos on his health: I have no problem
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Wednesday assured the public that he is in good health condition, urging them not to believe with what they are seeing on social media.
Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro, in a video, asked the President about his health condition amid rumors that he is sick. Marcos said the public should not take everything on social media seriously.
''Eh ganon pa rin, I'm struggling kasi ayoko na tumaba ulit, nawala na 'yung taba ko baka babalik. That's what I'm taking care of,'' Marcos said.
(I don't want to gain weight. That's what I'm taking care of.)
''I want to... nagpapasalamat naman po ako sa mga nagaalala sa akin, huwag niyo pong masyadong sineseryoso, ano ba naman ang social media, palabiro 'yan eh. Wala po tayong problema,'' he added.
(I want to... I'm thankful to those who are concern with me, don't take seriously those information you see on social media, it's full of joke. I have no problem.)
Marcos said he's back in his regular routine in the last three months, noting that he's always ready to work.
Malacañang earlier said it is preparing to file complaints against individuals spreading false information about the President's health.
Presidential Communications Office Acting Secretary Dave Gomez said evidence is currently being gathered, adding that a complaint may be filed next week. — RSJ, GMA News
