1,954 pass March 2026 physicians licensure exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the list of passers of the March 2026 physicians licensure examination, but the name of the top scorer has been withheld either for further verification, or pending determination of liabilities.

According to the PRC, 1,954 out of 2,781 test takers passed the exam, given by the Board of Medicine at test centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

"The results of examination with respect to five (5) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations; and one (1) was withheld for further verification," the commission said.

The second highest score was achieved by Alexis Bernardo Temblique of Cagayan State University-Tuguegarao with a 90.58% rating.

The top performing school with 100 or more examinees is Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation with 165 of 174 examinees passing for a success rate of 94.83%.

The top performing school with 50 to 99 examinees is the Davao Medical School Foundation, with 72 out of 82 passing for a success rate of 87.80%.
