House Committee on Justice member Representative Terry Ridon on Sunday released a list of Ramil Madriaga's current and previously owned vehicles registered with the Land Transportation Office.

The list includes motorcycles Madriaga mentioned in his affidavit, as well as an SUV he said he used to deliver money in duffel bags.

"Lahat po ng mga binabanggit po niya na mga brands at modelo ay nagche-check out doon po sa nasa listahan po ng LTO motor vehicles," Ridon said in an online interview today.

(All of the vehicle brands and models he mentions checks out with the LTO's list of motor vehicles.)

(This is very significant to give clarification, because while of course there are certain questions on particular aspects of his affidavit, there are also parts of his affidavit that have actual provenance, actual truth. And this list of LTO vehicles proves that his assertion of having these vehicles is not a lie but based on the truth.)

In Madriaga's supplemental affidavit, he said that "sometime in 2021, PRRD [then-President Rodrigo Duterte] gave me P25,000,000.00 to purchase high-end motorcycles for Sara's [Sara Duterte] use while she is in Metro Manila and other ordinary motorcycles for our group's operations."

Ridon, however, clarified that "what we are stating today just proves 'yun pong ownership po ni Mr. Madriaga, na hindi po niya iniimbento ito pong pagbili at pag-aari nito pong motor vehicles po na ito, whether four wheels or two wheels."

(What are are stating today just proves Mr. Madriaga's ownership, that he did not make up the purchase and ownership of these motor vehicles, whether four wheels or two wheels.)

"But it does not yet prove at this point na this was bought for the use of the vice president or this was bought through the funds given by the former president," Ridon added. — BM, GMA News
