Consumers may expect another round of rollback for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) this week.

LPG supplier Solane said in an advisory that it will implement a decrease of P3.36 per kilogram, inclusive of value-added tax (VAT), effective April 21, 2026 at 6 a.m.

This amount is equivalent to a P33 reduction for every 11-kilogram LPG tank, according to the LPG Marketers Association.

Group founder Arnel Ty earlier said that the rollback was due to the lowered shipping and transport costs.

An initial rollback on LPG prices was declared due to the removal of the excise tax.

Petron Corporation said prices of its Petron Gasul and Fiesta Gas cylinder types and variants were rolled back by P3.36 per kg (VAT inclusive) as of April 18. —Giselle Ombay/LDF, GMA News
