First Lady Liza alerts public on scammers soliciting money in her name

First Lady Louise ''Liza'' Araneta-Marcos on Monday warned against individuals who were posing as her to deceive and solicit money.

“I’ve received several messages from friends seeking to verify text exchanges allegedly coming from me,” the First Lady said in her official Facebook account.

“To be clear: these messages are not from me. There are individuals impersonating others and attempting to solicit money through deception,” she added.

She advised the public not to engage and not to share their personal information, and not to send the scammers any money.

Instead, the First Lady urged the public to report these to the authorities. —LDF, GMA News
