VP Sara's liabilities increased to P9M in 2024, SALN shows
The liabilities of Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband, lawyer Manases Carpio, increased to P9.95 million in 2024 from P3.75 million in 2022 based on the Vice President’s Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN.)
The 2022 to 2024 SALNs of the Vice President jointly filed with her husband were submitted to the House committee on justice by the Office of the Ombudsman in compliance with the subpoena for the ongoing impeachment hearing against the Vice President.

The same 2024 SALN showed that the Vice President’s net worth reached P88.5 million. Of this amount, P66.8 million accounted for real properties, while the value of her personal properties reached P31.6 million.
Her 2024 net worth is higher than her 2023 net worth which stood at P77.5 million.
Her P77. 5 million 2023 net worth is broken down to:
- Real property assets worth P54 million
- Personal properties worth P25 million and
- Liabilities worth P2.55 million
The Vice President’s assets for 2022, on the other hand, included P50.9 million in real properties and P23.8 million in personal properties.
Her 2022 liabilities reached P3.75 million, leaving her a net worth of P71.5 million.
One of the impeachment allegations against the Vice President is having unexplained wealth.
