No CCTV footage of OSAA, Marines position in Senate shooting, says Mao Aplasca
There is so far no CCTV footage of the movement of the personnel of the Senate’s Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and the Marines deployed at the Senate premises during the shooting that marred the institution on Monday.
Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Mao Aplasca said the footage his office has is that of the National Bureau of Investigation agents during the incident.
“Du’n po sa towards sa kanilang position. Nakikita namin na nag-flash ‘yung kanilang mga baril,” Aplasca said.
Aplasca said they could not find footage of the OSAA and Marines.
“Wala kaming mahanap sa position ng mga OSAA at mga Marines,” Aplasca told radio station dzRH.
“Ang nakikita na po natin nasa buntot na po ng ating tactical personnel,” he added.
According to a report on “24 Oras,” Sen. Jinggoy Estrada explained his remarks that were overheard in a video taken at the Senate on Monday night.
Estrada was heard, “Itago ‘yung CCTV.”
He explained that he meant that the CCTV footage of the incident should be “preserved.” –NB, GMA News
