We’re confident that we will be able to complete all the payout activities this month,” Dumlao said.
(We continue to distribute aid and we will continue to do this until the end of May. We expect to serve all drivers whose names were submitted to DSWD and they will be given P5,000 cash relief assistance. We are distributing financial aid not just in NCR, but even in other parts of the country. We’re confident that we will be able to complete all the payout activities this month.)
The DSWD will hold simultaneous payouts for service delivery riders from Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Rizal, and Laguna at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City from May 26 to 29, in coordination with the Private Express and/or Messengerial Delivery Service (PEMEDES) firms.
The DSWD reminded beneficiaries to present a valid driver’s license and a photocopy in claiming the cash relief assistance.
Drivers and riders were told to strictly monitor and follow the designated payout schedules that the DSWD and their respective companies will publish on official communication platforms to avoid conflicts and misunderstandings.
