The Supreme Court pays tribute to Professor Myrna S. Feliciano for her "invaluable contributions to the development of rules, policies, and reforms that strengthened the justice system and advanced the cause of vulnerable sectors."

Feliciano, the Supreme Court said, was Chairperson Emeritus of the Legal Writing, Research and Methodology Department of the Philippine Judicial Academy, a consultant to the SC Committee on Family Courts and Juvenile Concerns and as Executive Director of the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Office.

"Her public service extended beyond the Judiciary. She was also a Commissioner of the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women," the high court said.

"Her expertise and leadership significantly shaped the continuing legal education of lawyers and advanced the development of a more responsive and inclusive justice system," it added.

Beyond the judiciary, Feliciano also served as commissioner of the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women.

"The SC expresses its deepest gratitude for her invaluable contributions to the development of rules, policies, and reforms that strengthened the justice system and advanced the cause of vulnerable sectors."

"In this time of mourning, the SC extends its heartfelt condolences to her family, loved ones, colleagues, and all the communities she touched with her life’s work. May they find comfort and solace in the enduring legacy she leaves behind," the Supreme Court said. — BAP, GMA News
