Marcos not bothered by low SWS satisfaction ratings — Malacañang

TOKYO, Japan — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos is not bothered by his record low satisfaction ratings, Malacañang said Wednesday.

An SWS survey earlier showed that Marcos’ satisfaction ratings in a poll conducted last March 2026 plunged to minus 15% — 12 percentage points below neutral and classified as poor, and his lowest satisfaction rating ever.

At a press briefing here, Palace press officer Claire Castro said these numbers will motivate Marcos to work even harder.

(We all know that the President gives his best in working but this will help in improving further his performance in helping the public.)

Castro was quick to point out, however, that results from other firms show a different outcome, citing a recent survey that placed Marcos as the highest rated among the top 4 officials in a nationwide study.

She said that perhaps, those surveyed by SWS are the ones who have yet to feel government’s help, but that the President is working on it.

(From what we see, it all depends on the respondents asked. We believe the public feels what the government has been doing and it's only that the ones surveyed have yet to feel the government's help.)

Malacañang has been consistently stressing that the President is not focused on his ratings numbers, and that he remains focused on governance.
