Marcos declares 6 more local holidays for June 2026

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared additional local holidays for June to commemorate founding anniversaries and festivals.
The six proclamations were signed on June 3, 2026 and published on the Official Gazette website.
These local holidays are:
- June 11, 2026 as a special non-working day in Rizal for its 125th founding anniversary under Proclamation 1287
- June 15, 2026 as a special non-working day in Camalaniugan, Cagayan for its 430th founding anniversary under Proclamation 1284
- June 18, 2026 as a special non-working day in New Corella, Davao del Norte for its founding anniversary under Proclamation 1285
- June 24, 2026 as a special non-working day in San Juan City, Metro Manila for its Wattah Wattah Festival under Proclamation 1282
- June 24, 2026 as a special non-working day in Tabaco City, Albay for its Tabak Festival under Proclamation 1286, and
- June 26, 2026 as a special non-working day in Sawata, Davao del Norte for its 22nd Araw ng Sawata under Proclamation 1283.
