VP Sara Duterte, husband report P98.6-million net worth in 2025

The net worth of Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband Mans Carpio reached more than P98 million in 2025, an 11.46% increase from their 2024 net worth based on their joint Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN).

According to Oscar Oida’s report in “24 Oras” on Monday, GMA News Research found that the Duterte-Carpio couple declared a net worth of P98,656,131.20 in 2025. The net worth they declared in the prior year was P88 million.

On the other hand, their declared total assets was P122,797,727.20, which is 24.72% increase from the P98 million in 2024.

Of their total assets, P81.3 million are real properties and P41.48 million are personal properties. Two properties were added to the couple in 2025: a condominium with a parking slot in San Juan City and a commercial building in Davao City.

Further, the value of the motor vehicles owned by the couple rose from P10.5 million in 2024 to P12.3 million in 2025.

Meanwhile, the vice president did not declare a cash on-hand and cash in-bank in her SALN. However, she declared P16.2 million under “others” item.

Last April, Duterte’s lawyer Michael Poa said that she did not declare her cash as “cash-on-hand” in her SALNs from 2019 to 2024 as she lumped it under “others.”

When it comes to liabilities for 2025, both Duterte and Carpio declared an amount. It can be recalled that it was only Carpio who had creditors.

The couple declared a total liabilities of P24,141,596. This is a 142.63% increase from their declared P9 million liabilities in 2024.

The couple also declared 10 business entities, of which, eight of them are Carpio’s while two others are of Duterte. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/BM, GMA News
