29 out of 33 pass special professional licensure exam for architects

At least 29 passed the Special Professional Licensure Examination for architects administered in Hong Kong and Singapore last May 2026, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

The highest percentage rating was attained by Bulacan State University - Malolos graduate, Barrie Ian Duque Ylagan with 87.80%, followed by Mapua University's Joseph Mejia Fermanes (85.90%) and Erwin Santelices Vierneza of Adamson University (85.80%).

The examination was administered by the Board of Architecture headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente with two other members, Arch. Lynnda Marie B. Laraya and Arch. Miguel C. Guerrero III.
