2 tie for first place in real estate appraisers licensure exam; 2 pass SPLE

Two test takers tied for first place in the licensure examination for real estate appraisers given last month, the Professional Regulation Commission said.

According to the PRC, 1,060 out of 1,456 passed the exam given by the Board of Real Estate Service at test centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban and Tuguegarao earlier this month.

Tying for the top spot with scores of 94.0% are Rovi Giandro Jovellanos Bugayong of Lyceum of Alabang and Mina Isobel Arcilla Tormes of ABE International College of Business & Economics-Cainta.

The best performing school with 20 or more examinees is Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, with 51 of its 52 test takers passing.

In a separate statement, the PRC said that two out of two test takers passed the special professional licensure examination (SPLE) for real estate appraisers, given by the Board of Real Estate Service at a test center in Singapore, also in July.
