Malacañang held a farewell call for outgoing Dutch Ambassador Maria Alfonsa Magdalena (Marielle) Geraedts on Wednesday.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. thanked Geradts for advancing Philippines–Netherlands cooperation in economic and technological development, maritime affairs, trade, and diplomacy.
The two countries are commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, which was established on May 17, 1951.
