BARMM winners proclaimed in Maguindanao del Sur, 'special areas'

The winning candidates for parliamentary district representatives in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) have been proclaimed in Maguindanao del Sur and the Special Geographic Areas (SGAs), the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said Tuesday.

Comelec chairperson George Garcia said the five winning parliamentary district representatives in Maguindanao del Norte would also soon be proclaimed.

Garcia also said nine election returns still need to be transmitted in Cotabato City.
