1 dead, 17 hurt in bus-trailer accident in Bicol

MANILA, Philippines - A bus conductor was killed while 17 people were injured after a passenger bus hit a trailer truck in Camarines Sur province in Bicol Monday, a radio report said Tuesday. Radio dzBB reported that bus conductor Glenn Mercado was killed in the incident where a "Raymond" bus (TXA-686) driven by Allan Domingo hit a trailer driven by Enrico Morata. The incident occurred along the Rolando Andaya Sr. Highway at Colacling village in Lupi town in Camarines Sur province. Domingo now faces charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and multiple serious physical injuries. - GMANews.TV
