Girl names killer before dying from 17 stab wounds

MANILA, Philippines — A 12-year-old girl was killed after being stabbed repeatedly by robbers in her house in Batangas province, a radio report said. But radio dzXL reported that the victim, identified as Angelique Torino Faitaren, managed to identify one of the two suspects before she died from 17 stab wounds to the neck. Two of the household helpers were critically injured and were rushed to the Batangas Regional Hospital. They were identified as Mary Jane Villacagan, 17, and Dustin Puwiran, 22. Police have arrested two of the suspects, one of them the fatality’s uncle Erwin Torino, and Roel Ornales. Sketchy initial details showed two men barged into the house at Mahabang Paharang in Batangas City, and attacked the victims who were there at the time. Angelique managed to identify one of the assailants as Erwin Torina, supposedly her uncle and an employee of Batangas State University. - GMANews.TV
