Report: Missing man's chopped body parts found in Benguet

A Baguio City resident reported missing three months ago was found dead — and chopped into pieces — in Benguet province this week. Radio dwIZ reported Saturday that the chopped body parts — including hands, feet and ears — of Nixon Lucas were found inside a sack at the Hilltop area at Km 6 in La Trinidad, Benguet Thursday. Police are now trying to find leads on who abducted Lucas some three months ago, and the motive for the abduction. Lucas' father identified the body parts through the clothes he supposedly wore the day he was last seen in Baguio City, the report said. It added police confirmed the victim's identity by comparing his fingerprints with records of the Commission on Elections.—JV, GMANews.TV
