A computer shop owner and her daughter were stabbed to death in their shop-residence in Cavite City before dawn Friday, a report said. Radio dzBB's Roland Bola reported that police are following leads pointing to at least one suspect, who allegedly attacked the victims when they refused to let him enter the shop. Authorities are also checking the shop to see if the incident stemmed from robbery. The victims, whose bodies were discovered at 3 a.m., were initially identified as Joan Felisilda and her daughter Licia, believed to be a high-school student. Police said Joan's posture indicated she might have tried to fight off the attacker. At least two other children of Joan, one of whom was six years old, were found locked up in a room and were not harmed. They were brought to a relative's house. Citing witnesses' testimonies, police said the suspect appeared crazed and was wearing blue shorts and a yellow shirt, and was not from the area. — LBG, GMANews.TV
