Phivolcs: Magnitude-4.4 quake hits GenSan area

A magnitude-4.4 quake rocked the General Santos City area in Mindanao Saturday night, but there was no initial report of damage or casualty. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was recorded at 10:08 p.m. and was tectonic. In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake's epicenter was 130 southwest of General Santos City.
