Police: 3 dead in Laguna massacre
Three people, two of them minors, were found dead in what police described as a massacre inside their house in Laguna province early on Monday. Laguna police chief Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz said the victims were found inside their house in Segunda Pulo village in Lumban town, Laguna. "Tingin namin robbery ito at nangyari sa loob ng bahay sa General Luna Street (kaninang) madaling araw," Cruz said in an interview on dzBB radio. He did not identify the victims but described one of them as "may edad" (elderly), while the other two were aged 9 and 13. Cruz also declined to say how the three people were killed, adding that they are still waiting for Scene of the Crime Operations (SOCO) operatives to process the crime scene. "May posibilidad ganoon, nilooban sila. May hinahanap kaming tao ngayon," he said, citing initial reports reaching him. - VVP, GMA News
