Plane crashes into waters off Cebu, 3 reported hurt

Three people were reported hurt when the light plane they were flying crashed into waters near a beach resort in Cebu province. Citing an initial report, GMA's News TV Live said the plane took off from the Mactan International Airport and was on a test flight when its electrical system failed, eventually causing the aircraft to crash.
An earlier report from dzBB said the incident occurred near the Maribago resort area in Lapu-Lapu City. The three, including the pilot, were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, dzBB said. — LBG, GMA News
