Report: 3 killed in NLEX accident in Bulacan

At least three people were reported killed while 10 were injured after a van they were riding crashed along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) early Saturday. The van hit a concrete barrier and rolled over at the Balagtas area of the NLEX, according to a report on Radyo Mo Nationwide. Killed were Pastora Dulfo, 65; Victorina Santos, 56; and Allen Castro, 19, who were on their way home to Paombong in Bulacan. At least 10 more were injured in the accident but were not immediately identified in the report. RMN quoted SPO1 Romeo Silva of the Balagtas Police Station as saying the victims had come from a despedida party in Meycauayan in Bulacan. Initial investigation showed a rear tire of the victims' Toyota van exploded shortly after they left the Bocaue toll gate. — LBG, GMA News
