7 killed in separate truck accidents in Batangas

Around seven people were killed and eight others were injured in separate truck accidents in Nasugbu town in Batangas province Friday. In the earlier 3 a.m.accident, three people were killed after a 10-wheeler truck went out of control and fell into a ravine. The truck driver was killed along with two helpers. In the latter 3 p.m. accident, four people were killed after an 18-wheeler truck went out of control and rammed five other vehicles, radio dzBB reported early Saturday. Killed on the spot were the truck's driver and his helper, a van driver and one more unspecified person.
