At least three people in Cavite province were killed in the wake of bad weather conditions from Typhoon Glenda (Rammasun), Governor Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla said Wednesday.

Remulla told dzBB radio the fatalities included a 22-year-old man, an 11-month-old girl, and a senior citizen.

"(Isang 22-year-old) nahulugan ng poste habang nagmomotorsiklo," he said, citing sketchy initial reports reaching him.

He said the 11-month-old girl died after being hit by a piece of hollow block inside her house. "Nag-collapse ang retaining wall nila," he said.

Remulla described the third fatality as a 60-year-old man who died after a tree crashed on his house.

The governor did not immediately provide further details. — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
