NDRRMC: 2 die in Maguindanao flash flood, Bukidnon landslide

One person was killed in a flash flood in Maguindanao while another was killed in a landslide in Bukidnon last week, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Tuesday evening.

Citing belated information, the NDRRMC said the flash flood occurred last Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in Benuan River in Barangay Kuya, South Upi in Maguindanao.

It identified the fatality as Nilo Timuay, 30.

No family was evacuated from the area due to the flash flood.

In Bukidnon, the NDRRMC reported the death of a seven-month-old child, Anthony Faburada, following a landslide that hit Purok 5 in Nakabuklad, San Fernando in Bukidnon at 4 p.m. last Aug. 27.
