Minors raped by lolo’s pal in Camarines Sur

Two sisters aged 12 and 10 have been traumatized after allegedly being raped by a friend of their grandfather in Pili town in Camarines Sur last weekend.

Both girls are still feeling scared over the incident last Saturday, GMA Bicol's Michelle Chua reported.

According to the girls' grandmother, she ordered the 12-year-old to get vegetables at a patch near their house, and the 10-year-old to get rice on Saturday afternoon.

The older victim said a friend of their grandfather molested her at knifepoint at his house. The suspect then allegedly raped the younger girl at a corn field near his house.

"Hinihintay ko po yung pinsan ko. Nagsunod po siya sa amin. Sinakal niya po ako," said the younger girl.

Both girls managed to escape and told their grandmother what happened. They then sought police help.

Police arrested the 38-year-old suspect. Investigation showed it was not his first time to molest the sisters.

"Barkada ng lolo. Siguro maayos ang pakikitungo ng mga bata kaya naging malapit sa suspek," PO2 Nono Calongui of the Pili police said.

The report quoted police as saying the suspect admitted to the crime. The victims' grandmother is determined to pursue legal action against the suspect.
