P25M worth of shabu seized in South Cotabato residence

Police seized some P25 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) following a raid on a couple's house in South Cotabato Tuesday night.

 

The provincial anti-illegal drug task force and Santo Niño town police also found firearms in the house, radio dzBB's Tuesday Niu reported Wednesday afternoon.

 

Police had served a search warrant on the house of Johney and Fatima Mantawi, who were reportedly arrested.

 

Found and seized were 17 sachets of shabu weighing 2.5 kilos, and a homemade cal-.45 pistol, ammunition and P3,700 cash. —Joel Locsin/NB, GMA News
