NGCP: 10-hr power interruption in eastern Samar March 28

Parts of Eastern Samar may have a 10-hour power interruption on Saturday, March 28, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said.

In an advisory, the NGCP said the scheduled interruption will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This will affect Eastern Samar Electric Cooperative’s Taft, Borongan and Buenavista substations, it said.

NGCP said this aims to facilitate the replacement of poles and permanent repair of structures affected by Tropical Cyclones Ruby in 2014, and Amang earlier this year. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
