8-year-old boy dies after buko falls on him in Sarangani

An eight-year-old boy died in Alabel town in Sarangani province after a buko fell on him, GMA News TV's "Balita Pilipinas Ngayon" reported Wednesday.

The victim initially identified as Rey Borsana was playing near his house when the incident occurred, GMA General Santos' Jennifer Solis reported.



"May pinulot siya sa lupa para ibala sana sa kanyang tirador, pero sakto nahulog yung buko sa kanyang batok," Rey's father Joey said.

The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, bus was declared dead on arrival. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
