Strong winds from Typhoon Dodong (Noul) on Sunday afternoon started blowing off roofs from houses in a town in Cagayan where the cyclone is projected to make landfall.
The winds also caused trees to fall in Sta. Ana town, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported from the scene.
As of 4 p.m., the winds caused galvanized iron sheets to fly off houses, posing a threat to people outdoors.

Earlier, state weather agency PAGASA warned Dodong was to make landfall in Sta. Ana Sunday afternoon or evening.
Residents in the town were evacuated from their homes only at about 3 p.m., Juego said in an earlier report. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
